FOS Captain's Ball

2 games, 2 one-goal defeats.

But I believe we have done ourselves really proud in both games! Falling to a 2-6 deficit at half time in the first game against S65, we regrouped and hastened our direct style. The rapid counter attacking, with Queenie, Low Ann and Jeanette all doing really well, and with Shuin Jian focusing on defending the opponent's goal, and Wen Hao being pretty mobile in the court (though probably a little jittery), we managed to claw ourselves back. The score ends up 9-10, but given another minute, I am sure we would have won it.

Today, we headed out into the basketball courts with slight changes in personnel. We started the game against S79 with Jolin, Josie, Low Ann. Khang Chuen is also in, and he played a pivotal role in defence that nearly gave us the victory. With the bigger court available, there is more room for mobility and more time for defence, thus leading to lower scores. All of our players did brilliantly! Khang Chuen was heroic in defence after the 3rd conceded goal, Jolin, Low Ann, Josie and Wen Hao all taking turns and moving about into clear openings for scoring opportunities. Good job Wen Hao for shaking off the jitters of the first game to score! Down 0-3 in the early exchanges, we managed to get into the lead 5-4. It wasn't meant to be for us in the end, losing out in the Sudden Death (ET) period.

Nonetheless, I am very proud of all of us for doing our best! I am sure our classmates who took part in floorball also fought valiantly.

Cheers to 10S63 for doing our best and never losing heart and belief!
